Destron GasEdit

Destron Gas is a type of gas that weakens anything that breathes it. It is seen in the OVA Dragon Ball Z: Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans.

The Destron Gas is created by four machines on Earth, that are all destroyed by the Z Fighters. In Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans, the four machines are located in Diablo Desert, Satan City, Jingle Village, and West City, while in the original version they are at Grand Apron, the Western Desert, Poco Poco Volcano, the Land of Ice, and a fifth machine on the Tongari Tower in West City.They destroy several machines producing the gas and arrive back at West City where one of those is located. But they have company; Frieza! Shouldn't he have been killed by Trunks? And he's not the only one; Cooler and Turles are back as well, stronger than before! The z-fighters are shocked to see them but have no time for reunion as the villains attack! After fighting, our heroes start to suffer from the effects of the Destron Gas. Having the side-effect from the Destron Gas affecting their fight, they are defeated and killed. And even though the z-fighters manage to get few good hits, the villains are regenarated thanks to the Destron Gas! Are the villains unstoppable with this ultimate strategy Destron Gas was a life-sapping gas unleashed on the Earth by Dr. Raichi in an attempt to wipe out all living things on that world. It also had the effect of dampening the ki-based powers of the Z Warriors

The Destron Gas is able to regenerate bodies of the ghost version of Frieza, Cooler, Lord Slug, Turles, and Dr. Raichi.

The Destron Gas is featured in the Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans video game series, and also in the Story Mode of Dragon Ball Z: Super Butōden 2. In Super Butōden 2, Bojack and Zangya uses gigantic machines to spread the Destron Gas on Earth and get the Dragon Balls.
